When we arrived - we saw what we've only seen in photos. Beautiful, white, round stone houses with conical grey roofs, known as “trulli.” We walked through the houses - admiring the village up to St. Antonio Church.
The total tour took about an hour an a half but we were craving gelato at this point. Word to the wise - this village is incredibly small - which means most shops don't take credit card! The only place that did was the local supermarket. We didn't exactly have the creamy gelato we were craving but we did have ice-cream! ;)
